Nicole’s cabin exceeds all expectations. It is well appointed with tons of amenities that made our stay comfortable and stress free. The backyard is great for spending summer evenings outside for grilling with plenty of privacy. The interior is very cozy and was well stocked with extra towels, blankets, fans, beach blankets, kids toys/books, and more. The cabin is very close to all the offerings of Big Bear Lake and made getting around easy. This is one of the best AirBNBs that we’ve stayed at and Nicole has definitely earned all the positive buzz!

We spent 3 nights at the LandHaus over July 4th weekend and it was truly special. I have to say that this is by far THE BEST AirBnB we’ve stayed at. The location is great and easy access to grocery, restaurants, the lake, etc. All of the essentials are provided – coffee, tea, every spice imaginable, every pot/pan/dish you may need – all well organized! The home itself was impeccably clean and well decorated (bear-themed of course). The couch was SO comfortable, as were the beds, pillows and linens. Even the towels felt high quality and not cheap. The backyard space was super cute – we grilled out there every night and had coffee outside in the mornings. The hot tub was nice too – we didn’t actually use it, but it was a nice option if you want it! Nicole was super responsive when we texted her and you can tell she is very thoughtful by the touches she has put on the LandHaus. When we come back to Big Bear, we will definitely be returning here! 5+ Stars!!!

My family and I enjoyed our time at the Landhaus this weekend, and we love the property’s character. It felt like home and we were very comfortable enjoying the space. We appreciated all the amenities, and the kitchen was fully stocked with the essentials, let alone being super organized with everything labeled. The instructions binder was very helpful, and everything was expected. I noticed that the pictures on the listing didn’t include the entryway, which had a cabinet full of goodies to use throughout our stay. Nicole is an excellent host, in terms of communication, friendliness, and warmth. Overall, the Landhaus was incredible and we are so happy we got to get away from our normal routine for a couple nights.

The property was great. It was perfectly clean, very comfortable and the backyard was really nice to sit out under the pine trees and blue sky. Nicole was very accommodating with requests and very responsive. The location is good as well. It is near the major shopping area for Big Bear that is just down the road and there’s This Airbnb was AMAZING . This was our first trip since the pandemic. We wanted to have a fun and safe spring break. This is a prime location. Our drive was never more than 10 mins. to anywhere we wanted to go. Some activities we did was tubing, the lake, zoo and went to the village for take out. The house was a lot bigger than we expected. It was extremely clean and fully stocked with everything labeled. We had a great time in the hot tub. Some extras that we did not expect were all the board games and extra clean toys for the kids. If I have to say any areas of improvement, it would be that I wish more people were allowed in the house. Not sure if it is because of covid. But the living room alone can easily accommodate more people. Also, some of the cleaning rules when we left the house were more than what we are used to. Then again, that is probably why the property is extremely clean and organized. Other than that, this really is a perfect house. We are from Vegas and will definitely return and stay here again and refer to many of our friends. Even a donuts shop and coffee place within about an easy 10 minute walk in the neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay!

My mom and I stayed at Nicole’s house for a week – and it was just amazing. First of all, the house is big and yet comfy – feels like home but also oh I wish I had a home like that! Kitchen is very spacious and has all amenities you may need for cooking (we have been cooking very nice meals every day and found all the needed pots, pans etc.). Dining area is huge and very comfortable – definitely enough space to lay out all the culinary accomplishments!
We also took advantage of the outdoor BBQ and hot tub. The jacuzzi was so much needed after a day full of hiking, biking, exploring Big Bear. We also appreciated having a private and fully fenced outdoor patio area for yoga and just relaxing. In the warmer times / daytime I would have loved to use the outdoor dining table but we were back home in the evening time mostly, so didn’t have a chance to dine outside – but I feel this would have been awesome!
Overall, the house leaves nothing to desire beyond everything that’s already provided. PERFECT for two people who would love to have privacy of their bedroom / bathroom space, but I would imagine this house being perfect for two couples or a bigger family as well.
Location is central and close to everything – it was so easy and fast to get home after a day of outdoor adventures and some food shopping for dinner! Stores, outdoor activities – everything is very close to the house.

Really sweet cabin, and an actual super host! There were some small issues upon check-in, but Nicole was perfectly responsive and took care of us right away. A lot of time and attention has been put into The Landhaus and guest comfort, so it’s exceptionally clean overall, fully equipped, and packed with very thoughtful amenities. It’s extremely quiet, in a relaxing area of town, and has safety features, so it’s good for sleep and truly decompressing. We strongly recommend this cabin.

Our family of four had an incredible time at the Landhaus this New Years, and were so very pleased that we chose this special home for our weeklong vacation. It was exactly what we needed. The home was all we could ask for, and the fact that it snowed (just enough of course) was icing on the cake. The home was absolutely beautiful, clean, warm and cozy, ideal for the four of us (including two toddlers), stocked with so much of what we needed, and with a Christmas tree to top it off. Nicole’s communication and attentiveness was really what helped alleviate any concerns we might have had before the trip and especially during it. The location was perfect – and the fact that we could take walks and not drive too far to get to the handful of key spots was very important. There is plenty of space, and the home was actually larger than I had expected. Everything is clean, organized, and in abundance. Nicole is a superb host, she was always available (even on the holidays!) and we really had no issue over the entire trip. If you are looking for an ideal getaway, I completely recommend this home. Everything from the jacuzzi to the fireplace to the sleds made the trip so very special. I say home because it really feels like one, my kids already miss it, and we hope to come back soon. Overall, we had a five star stay!

We got snowed in and when I say snowed in I mean we had over three feet. We could not have had a better place to be snowed in at. The place was cozy with it being 8 degrees outside. The kitchen was stocked with quality pots, pans and everything you need to cook and bake. Since we were totally snowed in one day all the games, monopoly:) and many more kept the kids and grand kids busy. Nicole has thought of everything including flashlights, batteries and the needed band aids for the 3 year old’s booboo.

As an experienced Airbnb’er, this was probably the most accurate listing I’ve experienced. The pictures capture the cabin, it had everything you’d need, from spices to appliances, to the number of towels, etc. It was spotless, the attention to detail was spot on, the location was perfect, the neighborhood is fantastic. That doesn’t mention the superb communication.

We had an amazing time at “Das Landhaus”. The location is amazing and there is so much to do in Big Bear. Nicole is an amazing host and took care of everything we needed. The relaxed living room by the fireplace with the nice decoration lets you calm down and relax. This is really a wonderful and cozy home, two bedroom, each with a private full bath. Back yard has a hot tub. All the features of the home were nice, clean and stylish, perfect for our stay, which we enjoyed very much. Everything works and works well. We saw great attention to detail and quality. Everything was arranged in a very thoughtful way, seemingly anticipating our needs. There is a multitude of small and not so small touches to make the guests feel comfortable from games for kids to internet radio and smart TV to nice fluffy towels to snow shovels if needed (and yes we needed them). We rented this spot for our friends who came up to Big Bear with us. We had the pleasure of going over to the house and seeing it and it is stunning. The backyard has a covered Jacuzzi and is very comfortable to lounge in. The fireplace inside is very stylish and provides plenty of warmth. The house is stocked with lots of toys and games and is suitable for children. Everything is nice, organized and labeled in the house making it easy to find what you need. Next time we go to big bear we will rent this spot for ourselves.

Superb stay. Nicole has everything organized and squeaky clean. The house has so many amenities – it’s just a great place to chill and unwind for a long stay. Kitchen had everything we could’ve hoped for, fun table to eat/work at and super comfy sofas and big tv to watch movies and series. This cabin is absolutely beautiful. It’s close to stuff although you’d be content just staying at the cabin. Everything was perfectly labeled making it easy to to find everything. It was super kid friendly and the Frozen character blanket, cups, and plates won my four year old over. Every amenity was top notch. Even the foldaway sleeping mat was thick memory foam. The bath towels were so cozy that we were looking up where to buy a set on the way home. Our only regret is that we didn’t extend our stay.

I brought my wife and kids (ages 6 and 2) for a quick visit to Big Bear to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday. I chose The Landhaus because of the excellent reviews, especially those that raved about how clean it was. I can tell you I wasn’t disappointed! The place was immaculate! Everything was clean, labeled, and orderly, everything had a place. Yet, the house was fantastic in that it just felt incredibly roomy and comfortable. There were so many things we loved about it. The rooms were on the smaller end, yet it never felt cramped. In fact, it felt spacious. The linens were clean and comfortable. The Jacuzzi in the backyard was amazing to relax in after a long day. The house was also very kid friendly, too. There was a pack-n-play, a number of board games for the kids, and even a high chair. The house was centrally located to everything, super close to the village, restaurants, and slopes.
We had one small issue with the dryer not working, and the owner is planning on replacing the dryer in the near future. Other than that, the house was perfect for us. Reasonably priced, centrally located, and immaculate. Can’t say enough about this place! We will be back!!!

My wife & 2 kids stayed here for 4 days & had an amazing time. We were just looking for a cabin next to Bear Mountain / Snow Summit ski resorts & the Village. This cabin is in walking distance to the shuttle for Bear Mountain, which was perfect! Plus, only a few minutes drive to the Village that has great Restaurants like Saucy Mama’s & others highly recommended. As much as we love skiing & going to the Village, we found ourselves wanting to go back to this cabin that was so Cozy, Very Clean with an Amazing Hot Tub & comfortable beds. Super comfy beds, couches and blankets made the whole experience so cozy and wonderful. Nicole is such a pleasant and thoughtful host, I would recommend her cabin to anyone. Such a great time!!

Stayed last weekend. All I️ can say is wow!! Lovely home with a ton of high end upgrades. Super clean and Nicole was an amazing hostess. Lots of little touches that take if from a plain rental to an amazing vacation. I️ will never look for another place in Big Bear.

Space is very modern/updated and in a great location. There is a huge living room, and the TV is set up with Netflix, Hulu, etc. More importantly, we were greeted with a big bowl of Halloween candy

This house was by far the nicest cabin rental we’ve had in Big Bear. The house was extremely clean and literally had everything you could need. Most rentals seem to “cheap out” on their homes because it’s a rental but you won’t find that here. Great home and we will definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect house for our quick getaway to Big Bear. The house was clean, tastefully decorated, and had all the amenities one could possibly want. Big Bear Village, great hiking trails, and boat rental facilities were just minutes away. Highly recommended.

Excellent 2 bed/2 bath cabin! It was clean, spacious, modern, and cozy! I recommend this Airbnb listing 100%. It was a close drive to bear mountain.. and pretty much anywhere. All the amenities were great and the owner Nicole was always available and an excellent host.

My wife & 2 kids stayed here for 4 days & had an amazing time. We were just looking for a cabin next to Bear Mountain / Snow Summit ski resorts & the Village. This cabin is in walking distance to the shuttle for Bear Mountain, which was perfect! Plus, only a few minutes drive to the Village that has great Restaurants like Saucy Mama’s & others highly recommended. As much as we love skiing & going to the Village, we found ourselves wanting to go back to this cabin that was so Cozy, Very Clean with an Amazing Hot Tub & comfortable beds. We look forward to booking this cabin again in the future & highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect stay in Big Bear!

We are a family of four with two young children. I have stayed at several Big Bear cabins and none compare to the cleanliness, appointments and general care and attention to details we found at the Landhaus.
Firstly, all communication with Nicole, the owner, was seamless. She was responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. From setting up the pack and play for our 2 year old to having the house well heated before our arrival were just some of the considerate preparations by Nicole to ensure a best in class experience.
From crisp clean sheets, new towels and brand new mattresses’ to i-phone / pad wall adapters and the most well set up kitchen … everything has been thought of and set at the highest of standard. I cooked the whole time and not a single utensil, appliance or kids cutlery was missing. Nicole even had Petes coffee for the coffee maker and basic spices!!!
The jacuzzi was a family hit! It was so well maintained and clean. Nicole’s on / off instructions were also very easy to folllow. After a big day on the slopes and sledding, the Jacuzzi was the best way for us to relax!!!
There are two sleds, many family board games, a television (video and cable) in each bedroom and living room, great wifi and the most effective central heating. Nicole has considered all the important elements that make for a comfortable and memorable family holiday !!!
The Landhaus is centrally located. In a beautiful little neighborhood surrounded by other cabins, we could walk to the main road where buses take you to either Big Bear or Snow Summit. Each, a 5 min drive either way. We were 5 minutes drive away from supermarket and shops.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Landhaus. It is very clear that Nicole has high standards and really cares about making this property and your stay the best it could possibly be. Thank you so much Nicole for your generous hospitality and making our stay so easy and wonderfully comfortable. We can’t wait to come again!!

Recently, my two daughters and myself stayed at this cabin (Landhaus) for our holiday ski trip to Big Bear. The cabin was first rate. The place has a great cabin “feel” and the descriptions and pictures were accurate. The appliances and furniture were new and the place was extremely clean. The kitchen wasn’t missing a thing and we enjoyed cooking just like we were at home. The living area is quite large and very comfortable for curling up next to the fireplace at night. There were plenty of televisions (3) and the high speed internet was available as well. The cabin is conveniently located right in the middle of the Moonridge area only a block or so from a nice cafe and the Big Bear ski shuttle pick-up, which is a big plus. The owner/manager provided great communication and service from beginning to end. We have stayed at a few other places in the area over the years and this is our favorite by far… especially given the covered Jacuzzi in the backyard.
